Robert Schneider contacted us when  our first listing (with another agent) expired. We had already moved 500 miles away from Lexington, and our anxiety naturally rose when the first listing expired and there was no buyer. His contact letter was very pleasant and professional, not pushy or flashy like some of the others we had received.

From a distance of 500 miles, Robert was very reassuring that our home would sell. He did some painting and repairs himself to improve the showing condition. Once we had an offer and the inspections began, Robert coordinated many additional repairs that had to be done prior to closing. In the interest of time and availability of the various contractors, Robert paid for some of the repairs himself, and allowed us to reimburse him afterwards. When he had an estimate in advance, we sent him a check made out to the contractor, and he held it until the work was done. When we wanted a second estimate 3 days before closing, he got it. He always kept us informed of any activity with our house by phone or e-mail.

Both of us work full-time. It would have been very difficult for one of us to take enough time off to come to Lexington and coordinate the repairs. It probably would have involved multiple trips back and forth. Robert’s exceptional organization and customer service saved us an incredible amount of time, money, and anxiety.

Once we had a closing date, Robert stayed in frequent contact with us, to be sure we had all the information we needed from the Attorney. We were able to close without coming back to Lexington, and there were no technical difficulties.

We have bought and sold many homes over the years, and have never had a Realtor do so much to make everything so easy for us. Robert is talented and energetic: he does not stop until the job is done. We know he has a bright future in Real Estate, and ERA Wilder Realty is lucky to have him as an agent.
